Filling Holes in Wood Houses when Preparing to Paint and Finish by Sanding It would be nice if a wooden house did not require much more than basic house repair maintenance. Only caulk and scrape some, lay down a drop cloth or two, and slap on a new coat of high quality exterior paint. Maintaining your house is more difficult.
